SIXT Car Rental at Kahului Airport

After collecting your luggage please proceed to the tram station across the street, from the baggage claim area, outside the terminal. The tram will take you to the rental car facilities on the airport’s grounds in a few minutes time. Once at the rental car facility find the main car rental office for Kahului Airport (currently named Advantage/EZ Rent a Car). There are signs for Sixt Rent a Car to help you find your way.

Helpful information when renting a Sixt vehicle at Kahului Airport

Drivers between the ages of 21-24 are subject to an Underage Driver Fee and will have limited options of category to choose from.

All renters must provide a valid driver’s license, and if in a non-Roman alphabet it must be accompanied by an international driver’s license and any driver from a country not part of the treaty for international driver’s license must also be accompanied by an official translation.

Renters from outside the United States must also provide a secondary form of identification such as a passport at the time of pick-up.

Returning your rented Sixt vehicle at Kahului Airport

Once you arrive back at the airport please follow the signs saying Rental Car Return and then follow the signs for Advantage/EZ Rent a Car. A Sixt staff member will be available to collect your keys and direct you to the tram back to the airport terminal. Please allow for at least 20 minutes to get there.

Sixt offers 24 hour drop-off services. Park your vehicle in the designated parking space and drop the keys in the drop box on the east side of the building, opposite the car return parking spaces.

Sixt at Kahului Airport is open every day 9.00-19.00 (9.00 am-7.00 pm).
